How to Replace the Remote Battery of the Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the battery of the Volkswagen Passat, pull the lever on the top of the device so that you can extract the key from its top: once this is extracted, you can lever inside its housing. This will detach the plastic cover from the back of the device, allowing the underlying battery to be removed from its compartment. After the old battery has been removed, insert the new one, covering everything with the corresponding cover.
