In this guide, drain and refill the transmission oil of the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 12-valve. First, raise the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located on the gearbox using a socket spanner, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filler cap of the transmission. At this point, refill with the appropriate oil that meets the correct specifications; pour the correct amount as indicated in the vehicle's user and maintenance manual!
