Checking Fault Memory of Control Units

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

If nearly all the warning lights on the instrument panel remain illuminated, you need to check the fault memory of the various control units using a diagnostic tool: once the vehicle type is selected, the diagnosis allows you to scan all control units, identifying those with errors in memory; at this point, you will analyse the error codes stored by each control unit and initially attempt to clear the fault memory; to eliminate some of them, it may be necessary to perform calibrations and/or adjustments, such as in the case of calibrating the steering angle sensor.
