In this tutorial, you will see how to unlock the automatic gearbox in a Volkswagen Golf, an emergency procedure to perform if the battery is flat and you need to move the vehicle. First, go inside the cabin, then open the small glove compartment located in front of the gear lever and unclip the base of the gaiter. Next, locate the indicated yellow lever, press it using a long screwdriver, and simultaneously move the lever to neutral. The vehicle will now be free to be moved.
