The procedure to replace the steering angle sensor on a Volkswagen Golf involves removing the steering wheel from its housing. To do this, loosen the screws at the back of the steering wheel, which will allow you to remove the airbag from the centre. After loosening the nut underneath, you can completely remove the steering wheel, gaining access to the steering angle sensor located behind it. By disconnecting the sensor, you can remove it and replace it with a new spare part. After the replacement, remount all components and check their operation.
