On the Volkswagen Tiguan, to reset the Service light, turn the ignition key in the ignition switch to power on the instrument cluster. Then, navigate through the menu on the display using the directional arrows on the right side of the steering wheel: select the maintenance option and the setting to perform the reset.

When the confirmation message appears asking if you really want to reset, select "Yes" to completely reset the light.
