How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Golf 7?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

In the Volkswagen Golf 7, to reset the Service light, press and hold the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off. While holding the button, turn the key in the ignition to power on the instrument cluster: releasing the button will display a message asking if you really want to reset the maintenance and oil light. Press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel or on its right spoke to completely reset the light.
