How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Polo, lift the car to access the bolts on the front right wheel. Remove the wheel and its arch liner to locate the central nut securing the tensioner pulley. Loosen this nut to remove the pulley and reduce the tension on the belt, allowing you to slide it off its seat and insert the new one. Re-tension the belt by installing the pulley, then reassemble all removed parts and check that everything functions correctly.
