Replacement of Door Pressure Sensor

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

The safety sensor that prevents someone from being crushed by the sliding door is essential for this car. To replace it, open the door in question and remove the inner door panel by unscrewing the screws and prying to free the panel from the clips, starting from the point where the internal handle is located. Once removed, disconnect the connectors and unscrew the bolts. The sensor cable is secured to the door with a bolt, and after passing through the door, it connects to the connector. Disconnect it and pull it out of the door by freeing the clip that holds it from the inside. Now you can remove the entire vertical seal that covers the sensor and the door, replace it with the new one, and be very careful to retrace the steps in reverse, ensuring no clips or internal seals are forgotten.
