How to Replace the Steering Lock on a Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the steering lock on a Volkswagen Golf, you need to loosen the screws at the back of the steering wheel so that the central airbag can be removed from its housing. Once the airbag has been removed, you can loosen the central nut securing the steering wheel, completely removing it as well: this will allow you to detach the covers around the steering column. The steering lock will now be visible and can be removed from its seat by loosening the securing screws and disconnecting the power cables; this way, you can insert the new replacement part and refit all the removed components.

How to change the time on a Toyota Yaris
