Repairing the Door Connector of a Volkswagen Golf V

This video shows how the YouTuber attempted to repair the central locking of a Volkswagen Golf V. The first thing to do, since you will be working on electrical equipment, is to disconnect the positive terminal of the battery. Then open the driver's door, as all controls can be accessed from there; you will find the wiring harness at the door junction, so open the rubber grommet by pulling it from its seat, and then pull out the electrical connector located inside the vehicle's frame. First, spray it well with contact cleaner and try to reinsert it into its seat. Reconnect the positive terminal and check the functionality. If it does not work, check the functionality of the individual wires with a voltmeter.
