Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
Golf 5, Golf V, MK 5
- Years 2003-2008 In this video we see how the youtuber tried to repair the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf V. The first thing we need to do, since we have to work on electrical equipment, is to disconnect the positive pole of the battery. Then we open the driver's door, because that's where all the controls can be made; we will find the bundle of wires in the door junction, so we need to open the rubber junction by pulling it out of its seat, and then remove the electrical connector located inside the car's frame. First, we spray it well with a contact spray, and try to put it back in place. Reconnect the positive pole and check the functionality. If it doesn't work like that, we need to check the functionality of the individual wires with a voltmeter.
