How to Replace the Door Lock on a Volkswagen New Beetle

To remove the door lock on a Volkswagen New Beetle, loosen the screws securing the inner door panel and completely detach it from its position. The screws are located under the trim of the armrest and at the bottom of the panel. Once detached, disconnect the connectors at the bottom so that the actuator can be fully removed from its position. After removal, insert the new actuator, cover everything with the corresponding panel, and check that everything works.
