How to Replace the Door Lock on a Volkswagen Golf

Part: Door lock

Open the door that requires repair and remove the cap located at the height of the handle. This gives you access to the bolt that secures the part of the handle where the lock is located. By unscrewing it without fully removing it, you can detach the first part of the handle using a plastic lever. Once done, simply extract the lock and replace it with the new one, without needing to perform any further specific operations. For reassembly, just retrace your steps and you're done!
