The procedure for replacing the water pump on the Volkswagen Tiguan involves opening the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment. On the left side of the engine block, you will be able to locate the water pump pulley, which must be removed to access the pump underneath. The pump can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place and can then be replaced with a new spare part; after the replacement, all removed parts must be reassembled and their operation verified.
