The procedure for replacing the thermostat of the Volkswagen Golf is carried out by opening the hood so that you have access to the components located inside the engine compartment: here, on its left side, it will be possible to locate some bulky components that will need to be removed to access the coolant passage tubes. Under the tube, it will be possible to locate the thermostat, which can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new replacement part; after the replacement, all the removed components can be reassembled.
