How to Replace the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

To open your car key, you need to remove the metal key inside. Press the button on the top of the narrow side to extract the key. Once removed, push the top part of the key outward to lift it off. Now, use a screwdriver to separate the two sides and access the battery and the back of the control circuit. To reassemble the components correctly, simply retrace the steps in reverse, and you're done!
