In this video, see how to install the internal light kit in your VW Golf. Use a small tool to remove the plastic scuff plate around the right front door. Also, use the tool to open the side cover of the dashboard as shown in the video, and remove the side cover around the door seal.

With the help of a probe, run the wiring under the carpet of the seat, under the scuff plate, and under the door profile. Install the LEDs in your preferred locations.

Reassemble the trims and the scuff plate removed earlier.
