How to reset the "Service" light on a Volvo XC90?

To reset the "Service" light on a Volvo XC90, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, keeping the brake pedal released. Press and hold the button located under the instrument panel, which is usually the button to reset the trip meter. While holding down the button, lightly press the start button to bring the panel into full ignition mode. Continue to hold down the button until the "Service" light starts flashing and then turns off. Once the light has been reset, release the button. This process allows you to reset the service reminder and update the maintenance intervention data.
