The fuse and relay panel of the Volvo FH is located in the main electrical control unit of the truck and contains numbered fuses and relays for easy identification. The most important relays are K1-K2-K3-K4, positioned in a compact group within the panel, and are essential for critical vehicle functions (starting, power, engine control). K5 is the relay for the gearbox; from K6 to K10 are auxiliary relays for specific systems; K11 is free, and K14 is an additional relay. The fuses are divided into two groups. The small ones, numbered 1 to 14, protect auxiliary circuits (interior lights, climate control, radio); the large fuses, from 25 to 36, protect high-current circuits (radiator fan, starter motor, power sockets); other small fuses, from 36 to 72, protect secondary circuits and accessories.
