How to replace the cabin filter on a Volvo S40? Let's see the removal. The cabin filter is found at the bottom right of the glovebox. With a plastic lever we remove the cloth covering placed in the lower right part of the dashboard; let's get a screwdriver and remove the cap from the filter holder, then, extract the worn cabin filter. We insert a new cabin filter (making it adhere well around the walls of the box). We replace the filter box cap and tighten the screws with the cloth cover. We check the correct assembly of the previously assembled pieces.
