Replacement of the Engine Air Filter

Model: Volvo S40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2004

This short video illustrates the procedure for replacing the engine air filter on a Volvo S40. First, unclip the four clips that hold the filter box closed: start by opening the two clips at the bottom of the box and then the two positioned higher up. Now you can lift the lid of the filter box. Be careful not to strain the air sensor wiring; disconnect it if necessary. Now remove the air filter, place a new one in, and reclip the four clips of the box. Done!
