How to Replace the Hazard Light Button

Model: Volvo S40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2004

This brief video illustrates the procedure to replace the hazard light button on a Volvo S40 or V40. First, remove the three air conditioning control knobs, gently take off the surrounding trim, and unscrew the two small screws located on the sides. Also, remove the small vent grilles and their panel (using a screwdriver); detach the clips at the top, then disconnect the hazard light button connector with two fingers. Carefully disconnect the electrical connection, then repeat all the steps performed so far in reverse.
