Replacing Cabin Air Filters

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014

The cabin air filter purifies the air inside the vehicle and is located under the passenger side glove compartment. Obtain a cabin air filter that is identical to the original. To access it, disconnect the passenger side glove compartment door and remove the screws from the plastic cover underneath. Once the filter cover is removed, simply pull it outward to take out the filters, being careful to avoid spreading dust inside the cabin. To collect any dirt, place a cloth on the floor. Thoroughly clean the inside of the filter housing with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a filter, then carefully reinstall the new filters into the housing and close the cover.
