Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Door trim panel

First, remove the triangular plastic cover located near the outside rearview mirror; disconnect the cover of the internal handle and remove the screws located just behind it; use a flat tool to disengage the pressure clips along the edges of the panel, pull out the lock rod, and disconnect the cable of the internal opening handle, then disconnect the connectors linked to the power window switch. For reassembly, proceed in reverse: reconnect the connectors, the cable, reattach the pressure clips along the edges, screw in the screws under the handle, and reposition the handle.
