Replacement of Engine Coolant

Model: Volvo S80 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Antifreeze coolant

In very cold regions, a good antifreeze is advisable; periodic replacement prevents possible radiator blockages. Locate the expansion tank and remove the cap. Position a container under the radiator to collect the old coolant through the appropriate valve, which should be opened. If necessary, replace the coolant circulation hoses. Top up with the recommended coolant specified by the manufacturer. Start the engine, open the air bleed valve until the liquid flows out to eliminate any air bubbles, and check for any leaks.
