In this video we will see how to remove the auxiliary or V-belt on a Volvo V40 first series, following the instructions below. First we lift the car on the front side and start by removing the right front wheel; then we unscrew all the fixing screws of the wheel arch, in order to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point we use a socket wrench to loosen the V-belt pretensioner; now remove the belt and replace it with the new one, of the right type: insert it in the correct direction and reassemble everything!
