In this video, you will see how to remove the auxiliary or serpentine belt on a first series Volvo V40, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle at the front and start by removing the front right wheel; then unscrew all the fixing screws of the wheel arch to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, use a socket spanner to loosen the tensioner of the serpentine belt; now remove the belt and replace it with the new one of the correct type: insert it in the correct direction and reassemble everything!
