How do you replace the timing belt of the Volvo V40?

In order to replace the timing belt of the Volvo V40, you need to loosen the screws that secure the right front wheel to its housing: this must be removed along with the corresponding fender so that you have access to the side of the engine block. The central nut that secures the belt tensioner pulley can be loosened to remove the pulley and reduce the belt tension: by doing this, it will be possible to insert the new belt so that it can be tensioned and verify that everything is functioning properly.
