Remove Handle from Volvo XC90

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 2 - Years 2015-2026

Open the car door. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the cover cap located on the side. Now, with a T20 Torx screwdriver, remove the single small screw that secures the handle to the door. While unscrewing, hold the handle in the open position with your other hand. Once the screw is completely out, simply pull the handle towards the rear of the vehicle to disengage the hook from its slot. To install the new handle, reverse the process: insert the handle into place, screw in the fastening screw with the T20 Torx, and replace the cover cap.
