Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to reset the service light on a Volvo S40.

In this video tutorial, we can see how to reset the maintenance light on a Volvo S40, a model produced from 2004 to 2012. This operation must be performed every time a regular service is carried out on the vehicle. First, with the car still turned off, press and hold the TRIP button on the speedometer. Now turn the vehicle key to the second position, which is to turn on the instrument panel and the vehicle's injection system without starting the engine. After doing this, while still holding down the previous button, we can see a yellow "i" light flashing on the speedometer. When this light starts flashing, we can release the TRIP button and the reset will have been successfully performed. Then turn off and restart the vehicle to verify.
