How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo S40

In this video tutorial, see how to reset the maintenance light on a Volvo S40, a model produced from 2004 to 2012. This operation must be performed each time you carry out the regular service on the vehicle. First, with the engine off, press and hold the TRIP button on the speedometer. Now, turn the vehicle key to the second position to activate the instrument cluster and the vehicle's injection system without starting the engine. While continuing to hold the button, you will notice a yellow light shaped like an "i" on the speedometer. When this light starts to flash, release the TRIP button, and the reset will be completed successfully. Then, turn off and restart the vehicle to verify.
