Resetting the service light on a Volvo XC40, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, make sure you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks.

Start by entering the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Next, press and hold the "-" button on the steering wheel, turn on the ignition simultaneously, and keep the button pressed until the yellow "i" blinks 3 times.

Then restart the vehicle to verify that the reset was successful.
