Removing the badge from the grille is a bit more laborious (the YouTuber wants to paint the front grille black, while the badge should remain silver). However, it's nothing impossible: just flip the grille over and with a bit of care and patience, using pliers, you can remove the clip to free the badge from the top side, then clean and paint the grille comfortably.
