How do you replace the diesel fuel filter of the Volvo XC40?

In order to replace the fuel filter of the Volvo XC40, you need to lift the car using a jack or a lift, so that it is possible to access the bottom of the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate protective panels that need to be loosened by unscrewing the appropriate screws. Once these panels have been removed, you will be able to locate the fuel filter in this position: this filter must be removed from its seat by disconnecting the fuel lines and unscrewing the supports.
