How to Open the Fuel Door on the Volvo XC40?

The fuel door on the Volvo XC40 remains closed as long as the car doors are also closed. Therefore, once you locate the fuel door using the icon with the arrow on the dashboard, press the door unlock button on the remote. This will also unlock the fuel door, and you just need to apply slight pressure with your hand to open it. After refueling, close the fuel door, press the door lock button on the remote, and wait about five seconds for the fuel door to also lock.
