How to reset the BMS light on Volvo cars?

To reset the BMS light on Volvo cars, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to power up the instrument cluster. Once powered, turn on the dipped headlights by rotating the appropriate knob to the left of the steering wheel.

Then, press the fog light button six times and the hazard light button three times; this will cause the BMS light to disappear completely from the instrument cluster. You can then turn off the ignition by removing the key from the switch.
