Today we will see the instructions that will allow us to carry out the ordinary maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDm. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the lower plastic cover of the engine, unscrewing all the fixing screws; then unscrew the oil drain plug that we find on the sump, letting the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, unscrew the oil filter cartridge, replacing it with the new one; finally, top up the oil by unscrewing the filler cap.
