Before you start, open the front bonnet of your Alfa Romeo 166. Begin by unclipping and removing the cover of the cabin air filter, located above the bulkhead separating the engine compartment from the cabin. This will expose the screws that secure the filter in its housing. Proceed to unscrew and remove these screws, then take out the air filter itself to complete the removal. To fit the new cabin air filter and close everything up, simply reverse these steps, and you will have completed the replacement.
