Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Alfa Romeo 156 MK 1 - Years 1997-2007

Obtain a pollen filter of the same model as the original. The pollen filter purifies the air in the cabin and is located in the engine compartment under the windscreen. To access it, rotate the two side clips and remove the screws from the air grille and the protective cover, freeing it from the rubber seal. Move the cover by lifting it. Once the filter cover is removed, carefully pull the cartridge upwards to avoid dust dispersal. Refit the new filter in the housing, ensuring correct orientation, and securely close the cover and grille.
