How to Unlock a Stuck Connector on an Audi E-tron

Let's see how to emergency unlock the stuck charging connector on your Audi E-tron. Follow this procedure: press the unlock button on the remote, then take a brief pause. Now press the side button on the charging connector. Take another brief pause. Press the unlock button on the charging cable handle. Now try to remove the connector. There is also a mechanical emergency solution provided directly by the manufacturer. Turn off the car and ensure it is not charging. Open the front hood and locate the manual release cable: on many VAG group vehicles, this button is found on the right side of the engine bay, near the windshield. It is a bright-colored ring or lever (yellow or orange). Pull it firmly: you will feel resistance and then a click. This action mechanically unlocks the latch from the inside. However, have the locking system checked by an authorized service center: there is evidently a problem.
