How to reset the Service light on a BMW 1 Series?

To reset the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the BMW 1 Series, turn on the ignition and wait for all error messages to disappear. Once you reach the main screen, press and hold the button located at the bottom left of the instrument cluster until the car icon on a bridge appears.

At this point, press and hold the BC button located on the stalk to the left of the steering wheel. The clock icon will appear, and once it disappears, it indicates that the Service reset procedure has been completed.
