How do you reset the Service light on the BMW 1 Series?
Model: BMW Serie 1
MK 2, F20, F21
- Years 2011-2019
The Service indicator that is shown on the instrument panel of the BMW 1 Series can be reset by turning on the instrument panel and letting all error messages disappear. Once you reach the main screen, you will need to hold down the button at the bottom left of the instrument panel until the car icon appears on a bridge. At this point, you will need to hold down the BC button located on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. An icon of a clock will appear, and once it disappears, it will indicate that the Service reset procedure has been completed.
