Replacing Engine Air Filter

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Air filter

Open the hood and locate the filter housing on the right side of the engine. Remove the filter cover by disengaging it from the support using the five retaining clips. Disconnect the air intake hose and then remove the old filter and insert a new one. Before inserting the new filter, clean the interior of any dust deposits. Carefully close the airbox, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Reattach the flexible hose. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
