How to open the locked trunk hatch in the BMW 1 Series?

In this tutorial we can see how to open the trunk door locked in the BMW 1 Series, an extremely simple and quick operation, to be carried out for example in case of complete battery discharge or following the failure of the actuator. First of all, we open the driver's door using the emergency metal key, then we go to the rear side and, using the various levers, we lower the backrests of the sofa. We then go inside the trunk, locate the lock mechanism and unlock it using a flat-tipped screwdriver.
