Guide to Installing a Steering Wheel with Cruise Control

This guide shows you how to replace the steering wheel with one that has cruise control and radio controls.
The first thing to do, to avoid problems with the airbag, is to disconnect the negative battery cable and wait about 15 minutes.
Remove the glove compartment on the driver's side and the cover in the engine compartment as shown in the video.
Remove the airbag, disconnect the connector, and unscrew the steering wheel mounting bolt.
Replace the steering wheel, ensuring that the marks align with those on the hub, connect the wires as shown in the video, and proceed with reassembly.
Then modify the wiring as illustrated.
The car in the video is a BMW 3 Series (E46), and the procedure shown is only valid for this vehicle.
