How to reset the "Service" indicator on a BMW X3?

To reset the "Service" light on a BMW X3, use the controls on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu. First, insert the key and press the start button without fully turning on the engine, keeping the instrument panel active. Once in the main menu, use the directional buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the maintenance section, where you will find the option to reset the service. Select this option and follow the instructions on the display to confirm the reset of the light. During the procedure, the system will ask for final confirmation to complete the operation, after which the "Service" light will turn off. Check that the reset has been successful by turning off and on the instrument panel.
