Installing the Carbon Fibre Rear Spoiler Accessory Kit

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

First, remove the original spoiler that is glued to the bonnet: it is recommended to use a strong cotton thread (to cut the double-sided tape) and a microfiber cloth that has the right thickness to facilitate detachment. At this point, remove any adhesive residue from the bonnet by rubbing with your fingers and possibly using a suitable spray; it is finally suggested to polish the bonnet with some polish. Now you can proceed to attach the new carbon spoiler using double-sided tape: apply the tape across the entire surface of the spoiler that rests on the bonnet and remove the protective strip. Before fixing the spoiler to the bonnet, spray soapy water to allow for correct positioning and adhere the spoiler: once the water has dried, the adhesive will bond perfectly.
