How to Remove the Fuel Pump on BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to remove the fuel pump on BMW 3 Series. Raise the hood and secure it with the prop rod, then disconnect the battery terminals. Next, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts securing the metal cover (if present), take it out from its location, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Finally, extract the fuel pump from its housing along with any attached components (remove the plastic pin if present).
