Replacing Front Wheel Control Arm Bushings

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

The necessary tools are a ratchet wrench, a puller, and the original replacement bushings. Lift the car on a lift to access the underlying mechanics. Remove the wheel to access the faulty component. Remove the underbody shields. Once you locate the broken control arm, proceed with removal by unscrewing all the bolts. Also remove the steering arm support by unscrewing the two bolts, then use the puller to remove the bushing. Install the new bushing after cleaning and lubricating the support, then reassemble the control arm and the rest of the previously removed components.
