Check Engine Oil Level on BMW 3 Series

Check the engine oil level on a BMW 3 Series. Open the car door, pull the plastic lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the hood. Locate the dipstick with the ring to pull it out; remove it and check the oil level (there are specific marks for minimum and maximum). Wipe it with a cloth to remove any oil residue; insert and remove the dipstick again. If the oil is at the low level on the dipstick, add oil (use the correct type of oil). Recheck the engine oil level and close the hood.
