Rear bumper replacement on BMW 3

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001
Part: Rear bumper

Do we want to replace the rear bumper of the BMW 3 Series? Let's see how it is removed from the bodywork. We unscrew the screws placed in the lower part of the bumper, then, we remove the screws placed on the sides of the car's stone guards (we remove the wheels). We open the tailgate of the luggage compartment, unscrew the locking pins located on the inside of the luggage compartment (remove the upholstery cloth). Once the bumper is free from any screw, take it with your hands and pull it away from the body (disconnect the power supply terminals). We mount the new bumper above the rear bodywork: we tighten the clamping screws and the plastic covering the boot. Finally, let's mount the wheels.
