How to Replace the Fan on BMW 5

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

Replace the air fan on BMW 5? Remove the dashboard cover plastics. Pry off the plastic under the front windshield with a lever, then unscrew the cover. Remove the cover drawer on the right side of the dashboard, unscrewing all the securing screws. Take off the radio frame and all the cover plastics until you access the fan (located behind the center air vents). Find and disconnect the fan connector, then remove the fan from the cabin. Insert a new fan (connect the power connector). Reinstall all the cover panels and tighten the screws. Turn on the ignition and check if the replacement fan works.
