How to Remove BMW 1 Radio

How do you replace the damaged radio in a BMW 1 Series? Start by removing the plastic cover located beneath the radio, then remove the air conditioning control panel. Once the control panel is removed, unscrew the screws located underneath the radio. Pull out the radio, disconnect the cables (power and antenna), and detach it from the centre console along with the radio. Install a new original radio or a generic brand radio using appropriate connector adapters and locking grille (use adaptable plastic).
